Read the starting point.
Your movement history, current symptoms, confidence and goals are considered before exercises are chosen. If Clinical Pilates is not the right starting point, the team will say so.

Clinical Pilates · Kozhikode
Private, physiotherapist-led Clinical Pilates for pregnancy, postpartum return and the stage after injury, surgery or rehabilitation when a generic class is not the right starting point.
The difference
The problem is not always whether you can move. It is knowing where to begin.
It is a private, assessment-led movement approach in which a physiotherapist adapts exercises, spring resistance, range and progression to your history, current capacity and goals.

Your movement history, current symptoms, confidence and goals are considered before exercises are chosen. If Clinical Pilates is not the right starting point, the team will say so.
The same Reformer and Cadillac equipment used in our Pilates studio becomes highly individual through spring choice, support, range and positioning.
Progress is earned through movement quality and tolerance, not by keeping pace with the room. The physiotherapist decides what changes and what stays stable.
Private by design
No shared carriage and no divided attention. The physiotherapist can read your response, adjust the equipment and change the movement in real time.
Pathways
A suitability review comes first. Medical clearance may be requested where pregnancy, postpartum recovery, recent injury or symptoms require it.
Supervised movement adapted to pregnancy stage, comfort, symptoms and guidance from your treating medical team.
02A considered route back to movement after childbirth, based on recovery stage, confidence and appropriate medical clearance.
03Supervised exercise after rehabilitation or a period of reduced activity when a physiotherapist considers Clinical Pilates suitable.

Equipment as a clinical variable
Resistance is not simply made harder or easier. Springs, carriage travel, support and starting position are selected to make the movement appropriate and readable.
Inside a session
The exact sequence changes. The decision process does not.
Review changes in symptoms, energy, confidence or medical guidance.
Establish breathing, alignment, equipment settings and movement readiness.
Complete an individual sequence under close physiotherapist supervision.
Record response and decide whether to repeat, regress or progress next time.
Clinical boundaries
Clinical Pilates is movement with clinical context. It is not diagnosis, urgent care or a replacement for medical treatment.
A physiotherapist reviews whether the service matches your current needs before participation.
Pregnancy, postpartum recovery, recent procedures and some symptoms may require guidance from your treating clinician.
New severe pain, neurological symptoms, unexplained breathlessness or urgent concerns require appropriate medical assessment.
Clinical Pilates may follow or complement a rehabilitation plan, but it does not replace prescribed physiotherapy treatment.
