Screening comes before the suit
International recommendations call for a structured health-history review before WB-EMS. The purpose is to identify circumstances where training should not proceed and situations where medical advice is needed first.
Tell the team about implanted electronic devices, pregnancy, heart or kidney conditions, seizures, recent surgery, current illness, skin problems near electrode areas, medicines and symptoms triggered by exercise. This is not a complete contraindication list, and a webpage cannot clear an individual to train.
The first sessions should be conservative
Novel, intense muscle stimulation can create a high training load. Beginners should learn the sensation and movement before intensity rises. The goal of an introductory session is controlled exposure, not exhaustion.
Close trainer supervision matters because settings can be changed immediately from what you feel and how you move. Continuous communication is part of the safety process.
Preparation and recovery both matter
Follow the trainer’s instructions about food, hydration, clothing and the interval before the next session. Share any health change that happens after booking.
- Do not train when acutely unwell
- Report pain, burning, dizziness or unusual discomfort immediately
- Allow adequate recovery before the next demanding session
- Seek urgent medical care for severe muscle pain, marked weakness or dark urine
How Lyxaa handles a first visit
The Lyxaa trial begins with a suitability conversation, followed by suit fitting and a gradual equipment introduction. The trainer stays alongside the participant during the active workout and reviews the response afterwards.
If the health history needs a closer clinical review, the team may pause the booking or suggest speaking with a doctor. The ₹1,000 trial request is saved before secure online payment, and the care team confirms the appointment time afterward.
